Early this year, i had a 1 week holiday trip and just recently, i had a 3 day holiday trip again. For these 2 trips, i was unaware that i had to notify mindef about the trips.
And my luck was "good". While I was on the 3 day holiday trip, mindef sent a warning letter saying they found out that i went for the 1 week trip without notifying them. And I only got the letter when i came back from the 2nd trip.
This means that in their view, i ignored their warning letter and travelled overseas without informing them again.
Will I be liable to be charged this time round?
And what will be the likely punishment?
usually is minimum $50 fine...
leaving the country for more than 24 hrs .......is a muz for notification unless that has changed........
At least u got warning letter, accordingly, one of my friends apart fm getting warning letters but also a verbal check by the ICA at the tuas customs as he is a ''repeat'' offender........
I need to know if PES E personnel, those likely to be called back for reservist need to notify Mindef when they go to other countries?

should I be honest and tell mindef that while I was away on the 2nd trip, i received their letter and didnt mean to ignore their warning?
u can perhaps use that as an appeal reason to waive off the $ fine, if u r going to receive the charge letter in a few weeks time lor...
