In general, we all know in general green indicates safe and red indicate danger. By unable to see these colors, he could easily get into some real dangerous situations or worst if he becomes a leader, leads his men into danger.
colour blindness not only limited to red/green. and i safely say that with his partial colour blindness, it will be taken into consideration if he's to be considered for a leading post. and now that saf has thinking soldiers, if he heads them to danger, they will sound out to him unless they have a deathwish too.

Please post your concerns in BMT FAQ in the future. Thanks.

unless u only see black and white.....
I'm a PES A but colour blind (red-green deficiency). I'm a AI by vocation and has been a VC throughout my NSF and NS liabilities. I MR in 2006.
I cannot see rambutan tree from far, only manage to see it when I'm at 5-10 meters away, not bcos of the reddish colour of the fruit, but the physical shape of the fruit. Is this consider serious??
I recall during one of the BSLC section training in Peng Kang Hill, I'm instructed to perform the role of a SC. The enemies are recognised by the red flag wrapped around their helmet. I cannot see them till they fire blanks at me a close distance. I kana from my instructor. Despite explaining to him on my colour-blind condition, he still half believe in me.
wah color blind counted quite disadvantange still PES A/B ... =x
erm may i ask a qns since this thread also on an eye illness...
