aaaaa
I guess anything to do with proof...just show them black and white...
might as well just scan the original document into the computer and send it to them via email..and get it over and done with.

I've been following up the responses from mindef and they have finally sent me this letter that basically tells me that I will be granted deferment to persue full time studies once I do the following:
"Submit documentary proof from the Polytechnic to certify your study status by the First week of April 2009"
I have a couple of questions regarding the statement above, firstly do I just simply contact the polytechnic once the posting results are out and request for them to send to me the documentary proof? Also, how do I go about sending this documentary proof to MINDEF? through email? or do I have to send the letter to them though the mail?
u need to go down to the poly admission office / student affairs office to apply for the letter personally at the counter.
I did it last time too.
I went to the student admission office / one stop centre / student affairs (or whatever u called it) and told the staffs that i need a letter to prove to Mindef that I will be studying in their poly and so they help me prepare straight away. I managed to collect it the next working day. After that, i simply faxed the letter to them.
But maybe its better for u to call the mindef hotline and ask the people how should u proceed.
All the best
