Errr the high fliers don't say they are high fliers. They don't even have time to read forums. I know because I know high fliers.
May I know what gave you the idea that you were considered a "high flier"? Are you a president's scholar? or at the least a SAFOS? I am more than 100% sure that you are not. And you can't even spell high flier and your grammar is very bad. I can also think I am Elvis. I met quite a lot of such people like you who think you are what you are not. It's common. -

Since you have nurtured the interest since you enlisted I think your passion is sufficient. Go to SISPEC first and experience more, then make your decision.

Your whole post is riddled with farmer symptoms. I have a lot of SAFOS and OMS friends. Don't even need to say PS which is a tiny subset culled from them. Just comparing you with them is humiliating enough. And they are miles off from you in speech and writing. Even when talking casually to a PS in a wine bar, people come off blown away from their brilliance in their mental processes, no joke cos thats what the blown away peeps tell us. And we don't even have to get into their speech and grammar. And it's not spelling mistakes! It's basic grammar that even some local farmer grads don't get wrong.
Tell me your name and I MOST DEFINITELY (as in 100%) know you or my friends definitely know you and can verify your identity by asking the person you say you are. There is only 1 to 2 PS in SAF every year so the circle is tighter than your ass.

He claims to be a PS and every yr there is only 1-2 PS SAFOS. Out of which there are some who chose navy or airforce. Leaving the army PS a very tight circle. So citymax, what is your claimed name? You must be my friend!! We could talk about our friendship or our schooling days! Let's go way back! Are you Youfeng? Shi Ming? Si Hou? Ruimin and Aaron Beng are in navy. Boon Ping is in Air force. So I am sure if you are a PS, you're my friend. So show yourself to me.

Sign on is sign on. Army may not accept you. If they accept you and your performance is bad after a few years, you will be asked to go too.
I have seen lots of specialists who are asked to go due to poor performance.

I'm cool and not affected. I'm only asking him which one of my friends he's claiming to be. If you met someone who was your relative or friend on a forum, surely you'll love to chat with them.
if citymax's far removed from the circuit, he know squat. Yup ppl read newspapers and read there are only 3-5 PS per yr, but that includes police and civilian ones. SAF ones every yr only 1. On rare yrs can be 2 like Shi ming's yr but thats damn rare- There was Shi Ming and Zibang. Out of the 1 PS in SAF every yr, quite often are those who chose Navy like Ruimin and Sim Kai or Air force like Zibang and Boon Ping. So army only less than one hand's fingers. So who are you huh? We chat? I can even call "you", the Army PS up and ask if i really have just spoken to you. So if you are Army PS below 30 yrs old, you can only be Youfeng, Shi Ming- ONLY 2 possibilities, no joke ho ho ho. If you just hit 30 then you could only be Si Hou. Only 3 persons' identities for you to choose from, ho ho ho. You tell me which you are lah. We can chat here and I can even ask you about your wife. -

So, the best now is to wait after ive completed BSLC then decide? Crap, life in SISpec is totally different from BMTC. BMTC IS FAR TOO RELAX. And ya, after your POP in BMTC. That week of leave, you guys better continue on your PTs. If not it will be EXTRAs every saturday. MAN I FAIL MY IPPT.. =.=.......

It is better to decide after you have done a huge portion of your NS. You need to understand if it is the type of long-term career you want.
