I am 15 years old and ns is very near for me. In one movie I saw that one guy brought a lot of food with him. Are you allowed to bring food?

why not? put in office or bunk for ppl to eat lah :)
smuggle a few snickers or mars for outfield training should be okay.
By the time you become a NSF, SAF probably be a 4G or whatever G army, therefore more welfare. I won't be surprised if they allow you to bring your maid along by then
haha well said!
Haha. Last time I remember some parents wanted to donate air conditioners to the SAF to put in their child bunk. Later become like scouts camp. So you can bring a lot of candy and snacks? What food items did you bring?
my time BMT don't allow outside food, but small sweets like tic-tac should be easy to smuggle in. Good for lectures and outfield, but is a risk though.
when got into unit, potato chips, biscuits, bread and cup noodles(a must i think) are most common in my company and also for me, but not all brought in at the same time. My company once had enough food to have a small 'picnic' in the bunk one afternoon when we were free. Plus it doesn't help that my camp is near to a hawker centre and supermarket :)
sweets are for outfield, for me...
edit: typo
when i was in NS, we brought in canned tuna, peanut butter, bread, biscuits, chocolates, eggs, cup noodles, instant noodles, rice cooker..
First and foremost, worry about BMT cause there's alot and I mean alot of restrictions...uless your BMT is in tekong then I'm not too sure.
and speaking about food attract rats, and some camps don't allow food because of that.
