I need your advise if you have experience in Urticaria.
I have Urticaria since I am young but recover after i seen NSC long time ago ( more than 10 years). These few months it cames back with itchiness daily and red patches due to a change in my working environment. I am currently working in a non aircon environment and perspire quite alot which cause allergy to my neck and ears. I would like to know :
1 ) If I am to visit NSC, will they still have my record ?
2 ) As my hives go off after a few hours, it may not appear when I visit the specialist. May I know whether there is any way NSC can confirm on wat I am allergy to or how to confirm that it is indeed hives ?
3 ) IF there is no way to confirm, how does the specialist write a memo for u if you need to pass it to your MO ? Those who are downgrade due to Urticaria, can you share your comment ?Thank you.
Patiepie.
1) yes. there is a MRO (Medical Records Office) in every govt hospital/polyclinic.
2) bring along any past memos, MCs, medications as supporting documents. since u been there, there will ur medical history records.
3) there is a standardised format to write to a SAF camp MO. confirmed conditions r known as finalised clinical diagnosis.
Thank you Eac! I will be visiting NSC tomorrow :)
