Thanks for asking ... my wife say she prefer the army him and the old him. I supposed that is for the better right. .. he seem to be fine. BUt he told me second day, the recuit were fighting each other already ... shuck man ... that is no good lor ... -

I had gone soft in recent year but still maintain certain discipliine. thing like smoking, tattoo is a no no ... I had told him my army experience too .. I think he knows what to do .. you are kind ... thanks ... but fighting in the early day of BMT ? welll, time have changed I supposed ....

may i ask what happened to your son?what caused him to oot ?

don't really know ... he was on 4 days mc last week due to water contamination .... that all I know ... so for thos OOT, do they have to go back to restart BMT again ?

found out that he complain about knee pain for so long.. so now got OOT and will be seeing a specialist. .. so what is going to happen ? I lost touch with the SAF so I am a bit concerned ... can some one advises ?

well,he will not continue with bmt training but instead sit by and watch his friends continue with the activities.after a while,he will be posted out to the other vocations that need ppl like transport etc.if lucky,ur son might even be sent to go for the medic course(good for those who like it,a curse for others) and become a service medic.after a while,in whatever vocation he will be sent to,he will have to go for bmt recourse ffi to see whether he is fit for bmt unless of course he is downgraded to pes E for his knee problem.i thnk ur son might have chondromalacia patella(cmp).of course,it is only my conjecture,not any medical diagnosis.

so if he is not down graded, he will have to start BMT all over again. If downgraded, will be posted to those non military vocation ... .. thanks ... at least I know what to expect of it now ... phew !!
