I'm surprised as well. But now although underwear not issued, but more items are issued eg, locks and sandals.....even the ali baba bag got wheels as well......

was in TAB... staying in those WW1 buildings...
some rooms are always that cold w/o the fan turned on even though it's farking hot outside...

my issued ali baba bag ... looks about 20 years old, got one huge and hard black patch of what looks like a tar repair job on one side .....
and "CPL TAN K Y" marked in black ink on the other .....
so, CPL Tan .... if you are reading this .. i ended up with your ali baba somehow .....

How do you ended up with a Ali Baba bag? Thought yours is the wheel type, like a cabin bag.

one of my uncles, another ancestor grade NSF, told me about the time he went to wallaby on exercise ......
they went out in a rover one evening with some "spare" live rounds .... machine-gunned a few kangaroos, and roasted them for the whole unit that night ....

The old Ali Baba bag was a good way of telling apart who were the lao jiaos and who were the sad lil birds during recourse. ;)
my ali baba bag now become punching bag. Still remember the days before overseas training, must spray the bottom bag and stencil it with flight number..now i the current fieldpack everything, no need to use the "air stewardess" bag

lunchtime came,actually we all wan to tapao from CNB's canteen
but the chef cook for our share... so we go eat...
i went aboard Bedok
i was being served breakfast... roti prata...
ship ppl are very nice wan.. Navy is kinda of close bonding service (to my observement)

In RSN you can't be too naughty.....the people all know each other since it is smallest organisation. So if you do something wrong, the whole place will know and nothing good will ever come out of that.
