IHL NSmen: IPPT/RT/IPT

Yucks got the silly letter telling me that IHL students are no longer exempted from RT. Wonder which garang new idiot got into office and decided to put in this new thing. Well I guess you can't stop them from trying to make everyone hate them.
Anyway, I got a question. If I my window has already opened and I go take my IPPT now and fail before the 1 Oct 08, then will I still have to do RT? Or isit applicable only for those who fail after Oct 08?
Thanks in advance, coz I need to plan to either go train, go IPT or go downgrade. Anything but RT. Love SAF, hate the idiots there.
p.s the navy is coming to my school for a recuirtment talk, perhaps I should go and ask them some pointy questions and boo them.

u can also volunteer for RT first.... treat it as exercising....

IPT must be booked three months before your birthday.
If you cannot passed your IPPT before 1 oct, prepare to register for RT after that within a month.
Start your training now so that by the time you start RT, you may be able to pass it.
