Just wanna ask, is it possible to sign on for OCS, and then get posted to be an MP officer?
U can try to sign on as officer n u can indicate u want to b MP officer but tey will need to assess u during ur OCT training.

yup. but there r cases where u qualify for ocs, entered ocs training, but no vacancy left for the desired posting, they will assign u to other ocs training... e.g. want to sign on as combat engineer officer, but posted to be guards officer.
specialist scheme also like that one...
vacancy issue... and the few interview sessions.
But I have never seen a commissioned officer whose vocation is MP. All I see are specialists.
Seriously, may i know why you want to sign on as a provost? If you harbour an ambition of being a law enforcer, wouldn't it be more practical to sign on with SPF or CNB? Ultimately, they are the primary law enforcement agency. Plus I served NS in SPF, I can safely say you can learn more stuff there than as provost in army. 2 years there, I was involved in catching housebreakers, illegal immigrants, drug abusers, prostitutes etc. Not to mention I got my class 3 licence and learn about the CPC and Penal Code, just to mention a few chapters. To aim to be a law enforcer, any of these two organisations provides u more scope and real life experiences than MP. Not to be a wet blanket, but I truly feel they serve your purpose more if law enforcing is your cup of tea.
Just happen to come in here and saw this thread. Hi.
