This has been a rising trend that our SAF Regulars are leaving the service early.
What are the causes?
1) money not enough.
2) find it damm bo liao to serve the NS (after few years)
3) tio condem.
4) injured and kana downgrade. then find that u are uselss to the army. Jiat liao Bi.

2. Why bo liao to serve the NS, and if it is bo liao, why signed on in the first place?
3. why tio condem?
4. why downgraded liao, useless leh?

1. because the money is sucked up by people up there
2. when u are a student, getting regular pay looks very high (some people do it for the glory and honour)
3. some people just can't work
4. for combat side, its like if i have a F1 team, i get a car that can't go fast anymore... no use already

2. why actual situation and aspiration do not equate?
3. why those people cant work?
4. out of point lah...in the F1 team, do u need pple to indent the parts? tis not just the pit crew that we are looking here...we are looking at the entire team leh....

unless u can afford to pay the penalty of breaking the contractual bond period, most will quit once their bond ends and finally ORD. Job satisfaction.
according to the KPI (key performance indicator), if u r not up to standard, u will not be offered the 2nd contract (which is a job security till retirement). nowadays, even the SAF is downsizing, after the promotion interview, now only around 3 out of 10 SSG/MSG r offered the 2nd contract (WO scheme). hence, the golden handshake.
If on scholar scheme (MAJ to LG), getting an administrative job is a good prospect, since u r moving up to the HQ, later a SIB, next is a Division HQ, and later perhaps defence planners / Mindef HQ, or the top brass decision makers management/board of directors. but if u r on the farmer scheme, it's not good. u always watch movies/drama (US or HK) that when a senior police inspector got injured and offered an administrative position, he is devastated...

may due to pay, % pay raise, job rotation, career advancement, peer appraisal, superior appraisal, work-life balance.

i would be exceptional case...if my contact was not terminated...i would be one of those super siao onz type...

that's how u see it... if u r so ON, office politics come into play. ur colleagues will feel threaten e.g. when peer appraisal, or promotion time. with these lead to... working environment, interpersonal skills.
the theory for study satisfaction is the same is job satisfaction... u get the idea..
