probably the CH can't go to SGH, so have to divert to NUH and still land at the field.

in the SAF that is... after all we've only got that much amount of choppers. the Huey is the icon of the Vietnam war though.
Many of e Hueys didn't have good fate... many ended up sea burial after '75
