ASLC Questions

Hi, I just completed 47th BSLC and got posted to K-coy for ASLC. I was hoping to get into support arms and this posting is very demoralizing. And the first thing the sergeant in ASLC told me is K-coy got the first weekends burnt because of GPMG live firing and the next Saturaday is gone because of watermanship. I’ve got a lot of doubts about ASLC.
- What happen to those people who cannot pass SOC at the end of ASLC? Can they still get into instructional vocation?
- How many field camps are there in ASLC?
- How to avoid going to infantry or guards after ASLC, i.e. get posted to BMT or NCC
- If the training tempo for ASLC is tough, how come people in the forum can say ASLC is fun, more fun than BSLC, while on the other hand, people are trying to avoid getting into ASLC
- Is posting to AFS, MP, RP, or all those slacker units still possible after ASLC?
- What are the requirements to pass out from ASLC? And if you fail ASLC what will happen?
- Is there block leave before/during/after ASLC?
This is damned demoralizing, so much so that I’m now thinking of ways to be an OOC. I seriously hate chiongsuas. Help, I’m about to suffer from depression soon, seriously. Recently everything I do, I’ve got no mood, and I get frustrated very easily.

Hmmm... there are two ways, one is to continue with aslc, the other is to down pes and hence ooc.
Anyway, why did you even put yes to command school in the first place?

Because I want more freedom and less chiongsuas. But if get posted to infantry, it would be otherwise.

complete ur aslc, you might have a chance of posting to bmtc as an instructor.. you can tell your pc that.. he might be able to help you..
or the other optionn is to downpes..

at the end of the day u'd still end up as section commanders in reservist
and that is even worse....u dont know your men, you know nothing about sect comd stuff, cannot command and control those hokkien peng, sure suffer like hell

ack. i was from 47th BSLC and had 4 people in my section posted to ASLC...needless to say they were all very demoralized too. I guess the best you can do is tahan and do your best and make the most out of it. 13 weeks and it'll be all over.
and to forum_dude, there were 3 from my coy posted to TAB FDS...

and i heard those PTI are the super siao one and the super keng ones...

for some, they may only sign the book in/out book once...in the book out column...
