hi .. i was jus informed tat i got a ict briefing on 17 July at 0730am at clementi camp ....
the qn is .. briefing need to wear no.4 ?

Yes, you need to wear your no.4 with head dress. Your ICT haven't started right?

Yes, no 4 is a must as for head dress it depends on unit but noharm bringing it... sometimes they may even need you to take IPPT.

will NS compensate for this one day lost of income?
and need to cut hair anot
and why a briefing needs one whole day!
lastly can dun go? or is there a make up session

Yes, you be compensated with a day pay. Btw I doubt this is a whole day event, usually all these briefings are half day only. Haircut, I advise get a need haircut surely you don't want lot of trouble with the RSM on the 1st briefing. As for the last qns, when SAF 100 is served, attendance is compulsory unless you have a valid reason. As for make up session it depend on unit policy.

During my ICT briefing, the whole battalion have to do a haircut on the spot! Damn idiot, half day briefing still need to do cut our hair.
For the make up session I not to sure can don't go a not but I don't think so cos they send SAF 100.

i dun tink the rsm will like drag me to cut hair rite
But i am still under probation with my company, lidat still got compensate?

If you under probation with company, you can write in stating you have just change your job so maybe they can excuse you for this briefing.

SAF 100 is the letter issued by your unit informing when your in camp or your ns activity.

SAF 100 is a form that will ask you to attend ICT briefing or in camp training. 1 form is for your employer to let them release you & the other from is for your own reference.

Certain rsm are quite strick on these hair thing. Although it always cause a big argument on this forum. But mostly lan lan go cut hair lor.

Briefing about what to expect in your 10 years cycle, 3 low key & 7 high key if I not wrong and will brief you about mobilisation those stuffs. They will also tell you about your unit and your sister unit belong to which HQ . Normally briefing is tok cok session.

yep havent start .. 1st ICT in sept -
