  The ranks of servicemen in the uniformed services of the Singapore Armed Forces, in order of seniority, shall be as follows:

  go bslc means u confirm getting 3SG sooner or later

  u get your 3SG in ASLC if u going to infantry/guards/pti/etc

  otherwise u'd get your 3SG in the schools u posted to after sispec (sch of armour/sch or arty/etc...)

  possible... get from army market and sew it on lor... I bet you'll get a surprise back in camp...

  you can pass bslc and maybe OOC from ASLC or sumthing... then see yr luck. if you get posted to a unit as an Ops Spec trainee... where you learn Ops stuff on-the-job, you can get yr 3SG rank, maybe after 6 months to 1 year on on-the-job training. Quite a 'relax' way to get 3SG... but the roles of an Ops Spec is by no means easy.....

  can get 3SG w/o going sispec... join the NCC lo. or else u can consider sign on navy or airforce they no sispec de.. NAVY once u pass out from OJT u 3SG le (but dats for regular only coz navy want ppl to sign on so give ppl rank, NSF who do the same shit get CPL rank only) ok in navy is good coz u POP u CPL liao. damn unfair to NSF one

  some unit man intake also got unit 3SG promotion. depends on where u go to lo.. sometimes they give CPL first class. i know sea soldier got their own SGT phrase where u can get ur 3SG

  BrUtUs during your reservist you been promote before? So far I haven see any men during reservist promoted. What I seen is 3sgt to platoon sgt or plt sgt to CSM

  unfortunately yes... more sai kang to do... i have seen cpl promote to 3sg then ->2sg within 1yr of reservist... like my course instructor said -> super highflyer...

  my fren active time 3sg then reservist promoted to 1sg. cos lack of armskote sgt. and somemore he PES C always kana reservice
