Hi, I recenty ORDed, a few months ago. I trained actively with one of the SAFSA teams and competed with them for about 1 year.
I sustained torn shoulder cartilage during the year-long training with SAFSA. I neglected it at first because it was mild but it got a lot worse. Now that I have left the SAF and not even training anymore, the pain really gets to me sometimes....even when I am doing simple stuff like typing or writing.
If I choose to do surgery, is there any way to *claim* some expenses back from SAF since I ORD already? This is like wear-and-tear injury, not a sudden* injury.
Nope... you passed FFI liao... which means that SAF had nothing to do with your injuries...
FFI-> blood test, 20seconds...look at teeh, 10s...checkup by reservist MO, 1 minute? just like that? omg haha
no way liao, the only thing to claim govt hosptial expenses is to file an injury report, got it approved and received an service injury card to claim govt polyclinics/hosptial expenses for life.
