I heard that if you enter with a taekwondo black belts, you got some sort of previliage. In the old rule, it is that those black belts will be the PT, but the rule changed and I don't know what is the previliage now, can someone enlighten me?
got ar.. confirm....
they give u free spelling lesson ar
sorry if I spelled it wrong, but what is the new rule about that?
Not that i know of.
Basically, you goes through the same shit during BMT.
U will attend your first so-called Basic Close Combat Training (BCCT).
They will most probably asks who is trained in any form of martial arts and grab you out from the rest put you in the first row.
You tell them u Black Belt they will start to talk to each other and giggle...
"ai seh, black belt in TKD sia.. let's see how good he is.."
You go through the same shit call 'tekan' with the rest of the company.
End of session maybe pick you out and talk to u again if u are zai.
"Will you consider to join our ranks? We are so call the 'zai'-nan in the Army.
We get to tekan sergeants and officers (during our lessons).
So you interested?"
That's all.
If interested, there you go.
After BMT get posted to School of Physical Training. Train to be a Close Combat Instructor (CCI).
The highest you can go is LCP or CPL. But you get to wear black polo with no.4 pants for lunch. No need wear smart 4 anymore unless got parade.
So those instructors fight good?
Many people say BCC is a wayang show that is actually quite useless including the infamous Ninja CO.
so those instructors can't fight?
they got to be black belts in taekwondo to qualify to be trained as an instructor...
mostly saf takes in taekwondo, other martial arts such as karate, judo, akido... case by case basis, equal to black belts.
oh, so during the BCCT, who will we fight? the instructor?
the air in front of u.... no sparring.
do the moves in rows and columns... spread out like marching...
and listen to the beep sound.
be cct instructor?no?
ok, so basically no sparring. chey, I thought they will train us with sparring or something.
