there is something called hydration plan.
every training school/institute will have one and it is planned according to the day's training programme. of course if the next day ur 1st training requires straineous training, definitely they need to hydrate u e night before. and there is a directive of 1L during last parade. and it muz be at least 2 hrs before lights off. it is ti cover sissies like TS from getting heat exhaustion
now i noe y TS nick is as such. Annoy pple is his must

How do one seriously expect recruits to carry on their physical training with a very bloated stomach, not to mention the five or six recruits per platoon who will bound to puke after the water parade...
Seriously...
TS....Do you understand the difference between training for combat, and training to be an athlete? Do you know why we don olive green instead of bright orange or yellow?
When you puke after 1 litre, it basically means you are unable to hold 1 litre. By allowing you to throw up, it serves as an indication of your capacity for hydration, and after several sessions, you develope the capacity to take in more than 1 litre, and that is the goal.
Remember, the goal is not to make you puke, but to increase your hydration capacity. Puking is the indication that the goal has not been reached.
My capacity is at least 2.5 litres.
There is nothing you can do to change the policy by complaining here. Try writing to the Chief of Defence Force or G3.

don't forget defence minister's office haha
Add some Tang orange powder, lah. The combat rations of old used to have dissolvable lemonade pills, which also served the same purpose when you're forced to drink funny-tasting stream water (due to the water purification tablets).
I never ever filled my bottle to max.
