FT Workers wearing SAF Uniform!

Construction workers are spotted wearing SAF camouflage uniform - They are making SAF soldiers look cheap.
Where is the PRIDE and Glory THE ARMY always emphasize on? Are they allowed to degrade those uniforms?

I don't see how that is degrading to the uniform. Military uniforms are durable, hard-wearing and cheap, and they have always been used for civilian purposes such as construction, even in other countries. These construction workers may have been able to buy our old/outdated No. 4 designs and use them. The only problem I can forsee is if one of these construction workers commit an offence while wearing the uniform, in which case I am sure MINDEF will be quick to release a press statement. Although it is an offence to wear the uniform for these purposes, I think MINDEF is closing one eye for now, because the No. 4 is in plentiful supply and easily available, and there has been no big hoo-hah about this so far.

I think the only reason there's no reaction so far is because the Mindef perm sec and none of the generals have seen the construction workers yet. Once they see it, I'm sure there is a reaction

Dude, I've seen some of these workers at Tekong. There has been no reaction. Maybe MINDEF even gives them the old Number 4s that are leftover instead of dumping or burning them. As I've said, its no big deal.

Ladies who go gaga and love the no.4 uniform will surely feel annoyed abt the construction workers wearing their favourite uniform..
