  Eh. Just got me reservist saying I'm going there. Any info on the place? What unit is it or where is it etc?

  822 Sir is part of 2PDF Command at Clementi Camp. I am from 821 Sir.

  Me too. just received the letter. prev i from Service vocation. then i checked NS portal, they revocated me to "combat" and now have to book IPPT liao.

   

  any one the same fate as me?

  I got posted there too. I was from service too, but I can't don't know how to check what will my vocation be under the NS portal.

  i also cant check beforehand

  only during your first ICT, or Battalion Day, if they organise one

  they only sort out who do what specifically during the first ICT, depending on manpower they have

  Haha Looks like i'm not the only one LOL,heng i finish my studies then they ask me go back ICT,so confirm is combat vocation har,wah Kao me very long never train liao sia,die liao must find some day go gym .

  U can check your vocation by clicking the "book IPPT" button. Then they will show u whats your vocation and whether if you have to book IPPT a not

  i just completed studies. today just received the letter too. 2PDF said i had posted to 822 SIR. what the hack is that unit? xiong or not..

  my vocation is service side as a driver during army time, so i guess suppose i am a driver instead of revoked me.

  PDF - people's defence force loh. so be prepare to defend Singapore.

  it is at Clementi Camp. Nice camp. Can see MRT trains everyday.

  u might be doing POI duty (just like 6 SIR) for reservist or coastal defence (protect singapore at the shoreline) - dugging of trench and filling of sandbags etc etc.

  i am from 2 PDF and undergo many high keys alrd. Can say xiong some times, but still can take it lah. Xiong is when going for mission exercise or field exercise. Rest of time, just follow what other do, cos most of them are from service vocation, including SGTs and maybe PC. 
  For ICT, usually is go range/outfield for section movement/live firing (this is fun)/lectures (can fall asleep!)/weapon training etc etc, nothing much lah.. got little bit of chiong sua lah.. but dun worry lah.. usually it is walk one lah. from 3rd highkey ICT, willhave mission exercise for those coastal defence unit loh. usually go simpang for 4 days 3 night camping loh. those WO Trainers from 2PDF are quite friendly but not for those 2LT trainers loh.

  and i think 821/822 SIR (should have 2 more units), are going to replace our batches, which will be completing our cycle (two more high keys) in a few years time. and usually they will give at least 6 months notice for high key ICTs.

  I got upgraded from to PES E to PES B after I ORD.. CLERK Vocation... now go Chiong Unit... also now Obese,don't know can chiong or not.. No.4 Uniform also cannot wear, no EMART Credit.. ...So many friends going to 822 SIR, I think we should find a day and meet , to prepare ourselve for this new unit.....get to know each other session. Leave your contact number, I organise an Outing. Not sure when they will call us in for our 1st ICT.. hopefully next year..
