4 hours wait between live shoot

It's stupid. They can spend millions on new systems, but they can't introduce a system for individual search and metal detection so that soldiers can move in and out?

SAF only spents money on things that they can show off to others or things that will make their life much easier to command and control the formation activities. in case anyone again says SGeans too soft to fight a war and can't even stand 4 hours of wait, I would say that's totally off the point. If waiting was meant to train your discipline then all units would be practicing the same thing. -

just came home from camp.
we had section live firing today. they woke us up at 4.30 am to go to the live firing area, but the live firing did not start until 12. the arty guys were doing their ranging and we were delayed by 3 hours.
wah lao eh!!!!

since we are on the topic of range, i think it's about time SAF renovate the resting area. the benches are so uncomfortable to sit/rest and it is so closely packed together it's hard to move around.
i suggest installing long tables so that at least we can eat our food uncomfortably and maybe shelves too for us to put our SBO.
anyone want to put this inside their USMS?

I remembered during my recourse live shoot, we found a durian under the durian tree.
Had a great time eating it, an unexpected break from the waiting.Then there was 1 bugger who reshot at least 3 times and unable to pass.
Whole company was waiting for him to complete his day shoot. In the end, there was a rumour that 1 of the sgt helped him to reshot and pass. -
Maybe it's for safety purpose not to sleep but to be alert before shooting. I think magazines and mp3 should be allowed as none of these stuff will affect the live shoot. That's too strict. Talk with your friends. Most of the time in NS, is spend time waiting for something to happen, end up wasting alot of time acting like one dumb fuck siting down staring at the wall infront unless got something meaningful to do while waiting.

Mp3 is a safty hazzard ive read somewhere... i think.
I know some units & coys allow reading material but that just depends on your PC/OC. Mine doesn't so we just clean rifle, talk cock the whole day and raid the ninja van.
On the reason for not sleeping at ranges, its because when you wake up for ur shoot you become super drowsy which means you're more likely to bobo. Either that or ur csm/pc is a bastard
