Singtel and Pasir Laba Camp

Anyone have problems with singtel network at PLC? It seems most of the time in there i get 0 receptivity, and my phone can't even detect the provider. Swapped phones with friends and stuff to confirm it's my SIM card not the phone.
A few other guys using singtel has this problem too currently. Only like once in a blue moon will i have mediocre network. M1 seems fine

last time whenever i go for plc for meeting or events, my reception no problem leh.

You all complaining about army camps only. I'm at NTU and in my hall, half the time my phone don't get any reception and only likely cause is that army live range area is just across the road and coverage do not extend into those areas so we on the border just suffer...

i think most military bases or camps do not have good coverage?
i am from a camp in changi and the reception sux there too

Last time Pasir Ris camp can receive stray signals from foreign networks. Someone got billed for an Autoroam call from that place.

Was at East Coast Park, about 1km east of bedok jetty area, last friday and my M1 handphone got switched to "XL" network. Suspect it is Indonesian. Tried to manually switch it back but somehow could not till I left the area. Even switching on the HP again locks back onto "XL" network. Was thinking shouldn't Singapore telcos turn up their power instead of letting neighboring countries hijacked and snatching our local phone calls business? Are they in a way infringing our sovereignty? Are we defenseless against such violations. It is definitely against our country's interest to have to our money channeled to other nations when we did not even leave our own soil. -
