Are there any army camp that is next to MRT?
or will there be one?
like those FCCs or less critical units -
khatib is pretty close

Khatib Camp only if the back gate is open (depending on how ngeow the incumbent camp commandant is). Those who go to RT there would know. If access is closed to them, then they must either walk the fence perimeter to the front gate along Sembawang Road (ala the 2.4 km route), or alight at Yishun MRT instead before changing to the No.171 bus (extra half a hour's ride, for the waiting & the traversing of the HDB estate).
The nearest to MRT? I'll go with Chong Pang Camp, very near to Yishun MRT although I can't quite recall which side the camp gate is. Stagmont Camp in Teck Whye is also relatively close to CCK MRT, right?

Well, Chong Pang isn't very close, it's 3 bus stops away and at least 15 mins away by foot. Amoy Quee is quite close to YCK if the short cut I took last time can still be used. -

mrt tracks counts or not? if yes jurong camp gets my vote. the mrt tracks runs just outside the guardhouse.
i wonder if the guards can get any rest with all that noise in future when the extended line is finished.

kranji camp pretty close though not NEXT to yew tee....10-15 mins walking...

Pasir Laba camp got $1 bus to Boon Lay MRT in 10 mins
Hendon Camp near Simei/Tampines MRT (15~20 mins bus ride)
Maju Camp near Clementi (many mins bus ride)
But not sure which one is next to any station... Not very good as potential 'enemies' may be able to spy through an MRT station into a camp... Or even take pictures/videos... -

bedok camp is also near tanah merah mrt.
3 to 4 bus stops away. -
Kranji camp(not the logistic training base), need to walk a bit though from yew tee mrt

Problem is it was like clearing the SOC course ~lol~ Half an hour's walk too. Or have they extend a side road that cuts across the stadium into the industrial estate?
Khatib is the nearest, I agree, but takes just as long (at least) if the back-gate guards don't let you in without a camp pass. I've even seen harried RT attendees pooling money together to take a short cab ride round out to the main gate, just to report on time ~lol~
