Those still have many mths to ord

  how you convince yourself to be positive looking? I still got 8mths to go..but i am already mentally and physically drained.. I don't know, but time was dragging slowly and it was a mental torture.. the people there were horrible and infact everywhere in NS is terrible. People backstab here and there, arrows flying like those in 300 movies.
  
  Any positive affirmation to help people to hang on and to endure for the rest of the mths?

  Don't think that far ahead yet. It's still more than half a year away.
  
  Continue to look forward to the more immediate relief for the next few months: booking out, night off, the weekend, off-in-lieu, upcoming holiday, etc.
  
  ORD mood will come when you smell the deadline ~lol~ (I don't mean scent, lah. More like discerning the nearness to the due date, usually the one month preceding ORD & you know you have a bounty of leave & offs to clear.)

  hmm.. depends on how you look at the work u do in your vocation. find something to do to help u past time faster. the less you think about it, the more you'll be able to cope.

  since you have 8 months more, tell yourself that there're many other left with 9 months+.
  
  and worse still people like me who have 21 more months, or even the new enlistees these few days.

  i have 13 months more.
  
  i am a clerk in a slack camp so all of you will start flaming me for saying this, but its really damn torturous for me. i will start feeling sian on sundays or even sat night cos I know the weekend's going to be over soon. everyday is countdown to lunch then countdown to fall out. every week is countdown to friday.
  
  really cannot wait any longer for ord.

  Well,bottom line is,u will leave,sooner or later.
  It helps though,if u have a few close buddies by ur side who are going thru the same stuff as u.Best would be that u guys are sharing the same ord date.
  Well,dun countdown to ur ord date.It will onli make u feel that time is passing even more slowly.

  i left 3-4 mths left. ording on early may .
  
  My suggestion is look forward to yr bookout days, dont bother counting the total amt of days left to ord, the last time i went to check was 300 over days n now its 100 over days. For now look forward to the long break during cny thats unless if u have duty on cny like me
