i've seen SAF name cards in my work place before. most of them are officers i think, and they don't usually attach rank on the card ( so can reuse even if promoted) but if they change designation then too badOriginally posted by Gordonator:anyone has them? (not necessary yours, but of others)
am interesting to see how they look like. pics are welcomed (censored the name and unit though)
lastly what is the lowest rank that can get a name card any ideas?
I have no idea. Never done name cards for those.Originally posted by Gordonator:so for non-uniformed officers like DXOs, are their name cards of the same layout?
they don't get name cards. And if I not wrong, name cards are outsourced now. I had the company's name but I threw the paper away,Originally posted by Gordonator:so for non-uniformed officers like DXOs, are their name cards of the same layout?
i personally don't consider the name cards of the military top brass as prized possession.Originally posted by pdbm:i think if anyone has the namecard of COA of CDF it will be a prized possession n worth a lot...

Not when these top brass become GLC top brass one day. Never say no to a contact.Originally posted by sir sickolot II:i personally don't consider the name cards of the military top brass as prized possession.
i wonder under what occasion will they give it out? it's not like as though they are meeting customers/clients and making business.Originally posted by pdbm:i think if anyone has the namecard of COA of CDF it will be a prized possession n worth a lot...
Airforce use the airforce "above all" with 3 arrows (is that the slogan? I forgot) as the logo.Originally posted by Ponders:CPTs and above or OCs can have namecards.
but very standardised. MINDEF logo (not unit logo)
coloured logo, the rest in black. white paper.
i have seen non-officers have name card but the back will have a "disclaimer", like this person is not a official representative of SAF, etc.
now that you mention it i rem i got a RSAF name card from the Head of Recruitment. Yea... they do give out name cards. That was when i was a BMT trainee and they're trying to sell RSAF to us noobs =)Originally posted by chanjyj:Airforce use the airforce "above all" with 3 arrows (is that the slogan? I believe navy will also use their own (but I have no contact with navy so I have no idea)
