Probably you can yell out as you do the run-up before the leap from the low ramp. It helps to build your guts or "zhuang dan" and I saw many of my platoon mates do it during my BMT days.Originally posted by bladez87:is there anyway to overcome the fear of jumping low ramp? or anywhere to train when we book out? i really wanna pass my SOC in unit, and not let my commanders f me to pass.

the zigzag bridge i also scared, but that 1 is just dropping down so not so bad. but low ramp must jump ma...drop down = eat cont wire. i scared of the height and thats why everytime i jump with SBO, i will end up throwing my weapon far cause my fingers will let go of it...then tio gan a lot of times liao. so now even more scared. Then, as suggested, the momentum during the run-up shall be key. The propulsion will always carry you forward, so always leap off decisively & follow-through in your technique.
But if u really fall into the wire...pls dun moveOriginally posted by yuko-ogura:dun care abt the wire below so much!
i alwaes charge forward and look ahead.
then i will jump further.
if keep thinking abt the wire..running speed decrease and ability to jump further drops also!!
will kana the wire more easily ah!
y throw rifle sia?Originally posted by bladez87:i always end up throwing my rifle far from me when i jump. so always tio gan...
