Sign On: Worth It? Wise? Outside No Good Job Prospect? How?

hi guys , i have been thinking about signing as a millitary police , but is it wise to sign on? my bro now in army said that actually sign on is not a bad thing , but he himself dont wanna sign on , but he said its quite good because once you sign on they give you a amount of money and after your 5 years contract they will pay you your 2 years nsf salary , that means you will get lots of money also. But then , i have been aspiring to go overseas to study for my degree in sports management. And wants to work as a sports manager. I am really in a dilemma , or should i go in army first then experience the army life first before i decide to sign on? because maybe i might not like army life. because if my bro says if i like army life can consider to sign on. Some of his camp mates have already told their upper rank people that they wanna sign on as a military police. And after their AITEC stage 2 next year in taiwan , they will be going for the interview already. So guys , can tell me the advantage and disadvantage of signing on? I am really in a dilemma. because i spent quite a lot of money on my studies , and i still wanna study and i hope i can do so while doing my bond for the sign on 5 yrs. if i sign on.

it would be a good idea to make use of SAF to save up more for ya further studies overseas in future...after that dun come back become quitter....for SG is not a place to retire...

signing on will mean u would be bonded to the contract.
if midwae u feel that ur not suited to that kind of life, then u will be stuck.

for mi, i would not sign on as i feel that there would be less freedom for me. -

Before you ORD then think of signing on because you will know whether you like it in the army
Sign before you go in then later not used to it will be a torture
Sign on as military police? If you ever get close with "hokkien soldiers" then good luck

as far as i concerned....if wanna sign on try to go navy and air force if u can...life are better and pays are higher....save NDU quite siong but then pay still very high....somemore i assume u at least have diploma or somewhere there since ur toking abt getting a degree....if u sign up starting pay will much higher....if any peeps dun agree with me here, i welcome u to refute. it might change my misconceptions of certain things and at same time gain more knowlegdges...

the paying back of 2yrs nsf salary i nv heard before also..
still feel that u should have a feel how its like to be in army first. -

Just get a feel of army life first before signing
Sign as military police got a lot of restriction and regimentation
Strongly suggest you feel it at least 6 months in the army before signing on -

if u don't mind all the eye-power, chao keng, arrowing, back stabbing, red tape, play ranks, inflexibility, everything must go by book then by all means sign on.

and yeah may i know , if you kenna mono intake , heard that most likely you will kenna infantry , is it true? i am pes B , but i think there is no difference between pes A and pes B hence is it possible i will kenna mono intake for airforce or navy? and with my private diploma will i be able to kenna police force also? i dont mind signing on for police btw. if it is good. because i dont think i got a chance to kenna tekong as a private diploma holder.

anywae during the interview, the officers would ask which vocation u prefer.
but its not 100% guaranteed that u would be posted to that.
ur qns are damn cheem..have u tried contacting the relevant authorities?
we mite not have the best and most up-to-date info... -
i know of ppl pte diploma holders in tekong.
