BAC and BDC for nsf?

was wondering if ac and bdc is open for nsf. If so, how do one go about applying for it?
and are there any outside commercial schools that would conduct the same courses recognised by saf?

basic airborne and diving course???
Dun think outside one recongise. U like the badge so much go beach rd buy lorh. And where the hell got ppl conduct airborne course outside one. Freefall and diving still have but too bad not recongised. lol

If you are NSF, i think its best you ask your unit 1st. I think can apply via S1 maybe? Provided they grant you leave of absence from your unit committments to take the course.
I dunno whether its open to nsf, but meeting the course requirements is another thing, remember... -

Airbone is very easy - I would call it just jumping out of an airplane. (But if you do a water landing, that's a different issue).
Now diving is a totally different thing - I would rate it on par to the difficulty level of Ranger course in many areas. -
It used to be that any specialist/officer can apply for basic airborne/diver course.
But due to over-demand and waste of money, nowadays it is reserved for:
- Officers LTA going to CPT.
- SSG or MSG going to JWOC (Joint Warrant Officer Course; pronounced J-walk)
- Commandos' Currency Jump
By right - "by right", you can apply with priority given to above, but usually get rejected one la..
A few years back, I heard of 2 artillery NSF specs, their WO just apply for them, happen to have vacancy and they got their jumps!
Anyway....usually u'll get rejected lar... if u're not a spec, its 0%, if spec, u got 1% chance.
Outside courses to be recognised is impossible. A COMBAT jump is a military activity, means u're jumping for war...not for fun. There's no civilian organisation which can do that or teach you for combat..... NO outside course will be recognised for Jumps/Diving.
