are they common? just want to know cause alot of my teachers say that they have seen deaths but somehow they just refuse to talk about them.

Those on the paper are about all that had happened tts why army nowsday less shiong bcos every death cases are easily made known to the public and mindef have to answer for it! -
Training accidents (not necessarily deaths) are already polemical enough if the news trickle out to the larger public.

Its rare la...honestly...
Death in the service are rare...and contrary to nonsense replies from others, most are reported.
The only kind not reported are sucicides, mostly recruits who have psychological problems or severe depression.
Training is super safe, with so many measures after measures, evacuation plans, emergency plans....so many Do-Nots....its really rare for anyone to die....unless u have a problem urself (eg. heart problem not reported)
