  why got interviews for MP, Guards, Lifeguard, Military secret department, band and all sorts de. how do they select people for their interviews?
  
  man i was really damn interested in going MP la...can raid my PC's bunk next time.

  If your security clearance meets a certain standard, then you are eligible. They will choose, not you choose them(most of the time :lol
  
  Partly is due to your BMT window nearing their window of new intake, so various vocation will 'raid' the passing-out recruits to join them. A bit of heng-suay involved.

  yes if you're very 'heng' you can tio guards or armour infantry..or recee trooper

  Security clearance has something to do with your 'roots', i was posted to a guards unit after my Tekong bmt . My coy deals with classified stuff and only a number of people get selected.
  
  The cutest thing is that i didnt get called up for any interviews during my time in Tekong, i received my posting den realised that it was a guards unit, hehe. All my friends i noe who kena the Guards and MP interview still got in even some of them rejected the offer, suck thumb.

  If u want mp, u better hope the time in BMT u r selected to go for the interview. Or else yr change to become a MP is 0%.
  
  MY company out of 181 ppl, 46 are selected. In the end, not more than 10 go for MP basic course.
  
  The requirement to become MP is simple..
  No tattoos and criminal records.
  Clean family background,
  Eyesight not more than 500 for each eyes.
  Tell the truth n honestly.
  State yr height and weight as accurate as possible.( I heard from the form u fill in interview, they will check whether u tell lie or not)
  U must be at least 1.70m n acceptable weight for it.
  No fat or short mp.
  No bow leg.
  No smiling infront of the selection.
  Sit properly during the interview.
