Depending on condition, during my active days, there were 2 with heart problems, one with hole in heart, the other one is irregular heart beat. if all conditions and illnesses can escape ns, then no one serving ns liao... -

~shrug~ If you say so. But SAF doesn't conduct CT scans for enlistees, don't they? Neither does MOE for that matter, or else tragedies like what happened to that triathlete Thaddeus could've been preempted. I was thinking more along these lines: hole in hearts tend to be detected as birth defects (i.e. in babies or children) & if they're serious enough, would've undergone surgical repair earlier.
