Enlistment letter says report at 9.30am. Letter given to parents states there will be bus ferry and pls follow date and time stated in enlistment notice. so am i supposed to be at the PICK UP POINT by 9.30am or be there BEFORE 9.30am for the transport to unit??

toiletries for field pack am i supposed to use my own or use those issued by saf? -

Toiletries u will need 1 set in field pack so best to just use the set they give you for fieldpack and bring your own for use. -
well... by right by 9:30... but mostly such event they expect late comers and tolerate as there are parents around... so make it around 9:15 to 9:45...
if you smoke, bring in more cig... this is the only time that you are allow to bring a lot of cig into camp during BMT... not to mention that you'll be trapped in there for 3 weeks b4 you can book out...
the rest might only be 20stick per book in... -
When in doubt, be early. Punctuality is a value thats been lost among Singaporeans nowadays.
And bring your own toiletries. The ones issued are better for inspections. -
so fieldpack toiletries i haf to put in those tt i bring myself? not those issued by saf?? and do we nid to haf items required to be in field pack everytime? meaning juz pack 1 time then ok? like tt we nid to haf another set of everything eg toothpaste toothbrush

is it true that the pink ic cnt be taken back even though soldiers r posted out, recourse etc etc? tt means the pink ic is being sent around to the final unit if such situations happen? -

look just be at the pick up point by 9.30 ok... see all of us here had already been enlisted years ago liao so we oso received this standard letter b4... so u just listen to all of us can or not... if u still wanna knock ur head on the wall... go ahead... we would not stop u at all.
and all the pink nric are sent to cmpb for collection. only when u r ord-ing then will ur respective unit clerk be instructed by the unit chief clerk to collect ur nric from cmpb. then when u ord that day will u get to take back directly from ur unit clerk. -

mono pple will know posting b4 pop right? as in they stay in the same company same platoon etc etc as infantry man. or do they get posted to be scout, signal platoon and go for further training and return to the same unit
