[Year in Review] Top happening SAF stories of 2007

  Nominate what u think is the most interesting happening in the SAF for year 2007. i'll update the 1st post with all the interesting and most voted 1.
  
  to get the ball rolling, i'll say 2LT Lee Jr bashing his CO and friend who failed to take over his duty through the e-mail and sending it to ministers and other senior officers got to 1 of the most happening storis of this year.

  Its not $50 for REC but $50 for all NSF. Anyway, RECs are now given combat pay so now RECs should get about $500 a month which is already very close to my spec pay and even higher than my CPL pay...

  Recruits used to get 450, not 350...after BMT an extra 200+ was credited to the bank account if u passed bmt. i think.

  I am not sure whether got the extra 200 but i was paid 350 as a REC and i believe most of us here who were REC before this yr mostly all get 350 and not 450 since the combat pay for tekong REC is something added recently.

  2LT Lee case - I think it would have been covered up if not someone has leaked this to the media.
