Shld recruits be given more time during bmt to get used to the military environment so as to minimise culture shock. In this way, recruits may give a better or even a best performance throughout the training.

You wanna serve a much longer NS instead of just 2 years? All the durations of courses were shorten due to the reduction of NS from 2.5yrs to 2 yrs. Typically 2 weeks of confinement is not enough for one to get used to the military life. This one i agreed
People learn from mistakes. Only when they are punished then they will learn their way. Therefore my punishment to my men also varies to whether they are first offender or repeated cases.
