Consequences of fighting in NS

  Can anyone educate me on the consequences in fighting in camp? I have friends who were involved in fights before, and I've heard merely throwing one punch can get you into DB. Is that true?

  so many charges available under the SAF act to suka suka charge people.
  
  common ones:
  
  insubordination, assault
  
  anyway, depending on ur superior's leniency... can either SOL or DB.

  just to let u know briefly till i found out where i stored my notebook... i remembered learning one the rule military law state that the commander can charge you anything under the sun... so there is nothing that u do in army is completely RIGHT! ppl dunget charged nowadays, is cuz the commanders close one eye.

  Depends on context & mitigating factors: provocation, seriousness of injury, eyewitnesses, etc. Also whether a JDO (COY commander) or SDO (BN commander) formally oversees the internal trial. Other punishments may be imposed instead: court martials, fines, reprimands, extra duties, etc.

  i heard afs got a msg fight with officer coz the msg drunk then insult the officer wife or something didnt got charged but sure condamned

  Depends on how serious it was.
  During my NS, we had 2 guys fighting - punishment was to hold hands like a loving couple, and walk a few rounds around the parade square/company line to cat calls and whistles...........they have been good friends since

  No need to fight to kanna condamned. My unit RSM was drunk in annual unit D&D and start scolding the CO loudly in public. Although he did not get charged or anything but kanna condamned.
