20 push up????Originally posted by will4:I read that BMT commanders gave only give punishment of twenty pushup. As for sentencing into DB, only OC has the right to sentence a recruit the
maximum ten days of DB only.
never declare?isnt it an offence?Originally posted by bryanw:be careful of gays there who nvr declare. experienced it before.
Most of the do not declare since many of them are still not willing to let everyone know. As long as you do not tell everyone you are gay and noone knows, its not an offence :pOriginally posted by Lord_Nazrul:never declare?isnt it an offence?

Should not be too big as you need to book out with you full pack.Originally posted by p4rad0x:T_T going in in 12 days .... random questions now, how big should my personal bag that I bring into camp be?
public holidays are also book out day and book in day as well for recruits.. morning book out, at nite book in.Originally posted by blitzonic:If he's enlisting on the 15th, won't he be able to book out for Xmas (i.e. 10 days later)?
I agree there's no need for a big civilian bag, as yet. The new SAF-issued one is already quite big, with its own wheels & trolley handle as well. The trick is to learn to pack your stuff compactly, I guess.
Do bring along a transistor radio (great morale-booster & ice-breaker) & a notebook/diary (to record your daily activities; you'll treasure this in the future).
Oh yeah, prepare a photo album too (snapshots of your past/family/girlfriend). It's a NS tradition to submit it after your first book-in, to be returned near the end of BMT. Theoretically, they're for the drill instructors to get to know you better but, in reality, most just zero in on the pretty girls ~lol~
Unless there are important activities that last till late at night, normally RECs will bookout the night before the public holiday and in on the night of the public holiday.Originally posted by eac:public holidays are also book out day and book in day as well for recruits.. morning book out, at nite book in.
