hi to all, i'm in BMTC now and on thursday i was send together with 10 others from my platoon to Paya Lebar Air Base for a check up and interview for Aircraft Operation Specialist.
can someone pls enlighten me wad is this abt?
will i be send to RSAF for the rest of my 2 years?
i want to be part of the infantry, not airforce.
my home is the jungle, not the sky.
if i get it, is it possible to refuse/request for change back to SAF?

i was there on fri to do my med checkup too for air op spec.
but i guess i won't be chosen due to my sensitive nose.
but anyone know what an air op spec does?

Its very rare that someone that can post out of army to airforce wants to stay in army. All my friends that get posted to airforce die die also won't want come back. btw just curious why u want to be in the infantry, cos infantry is definitely the last place most NSF would want to go.

Even by going to the air force, that does not mean you are not a warrior soldier. Also i said earlier even u reject going to the air force also does not make you surely go to infantry. The only way of getting into infantry is to sign on. Aparently u have not seen the ugly side of SAF yet.
