Those doing duty in airport need to be specially selected one
Normally they chose those fit fit and more better looking one

oh yeah, speaking of cops, u know those police guys who wear something like SCDF police costume with berets, patrolling MRTs and taking MRTs also?

Thats what my formation did
at first when these police were implemented in the MRTs, everything was so professional and serious....nowadays, these police also like very slack like that.
2 weeks ago, i took MRT and some of these polcie boarded the train and stood next to me, and they were talking about how tired they were and they want to sleep....haiz.......hopeless.....if a determined terrorist wants to blow up the train, u think these guys would be of any use?

don't worry lah....you're malay so most likely you'll be in infantry unit where there's lots of other malays and your malay kakis will buddy-buddy take care of you, since malays get along with each other much better than the chinese do and are a lot less likely to play politics.
like the other guy said, in army, avoid being any of the following:
1) sabo king
2) politician (the more politics + backstabbing you do, the more everyone, including specs and officers, will backstab you to death)
3) over-garang king (ok to be hardworking, but don't overdo it too much)
4) lazy bum (if you too lazy, you'll get screwed by everyone)
5) ah-kua (if you too girlish, you'll get bullied)
in army, try to have the following qualities:
1) be overly helpful and sacrifice yourself to help others ALL THE WAY.....overdo this factor (this way, when you're down, everyone will help you back, according to what i experienced)
2) be humble and very humble (the specs, your fellow mates and officers love humility....if you're capable and too perfect, they'll feel you're a threat to them)
3) be well-behaved, no need to smoke or act tough.
just be matured, calm and composed all the time (not the same as acting cool), and even gangster camp mates will talk to you like a warm acquittance.
in addition, accept that life in the army is unfair.
if you know how to play the strings well, it will be a breeze.
like me, for example. i was on good terms with everyone from recruit to Captain and even LT-COL, and when they see i need help, they auto offer a hand even though i didn't say anything.
people who dunno how to play the game end up getting owned all the time.
like for example, this guy who was targeted by the specs.
that time me and him were late for parade fall-in.
the specs see me pretend see nothing, but they see the other guy, they shout at him like a dog and pump him, taunt him in front of everyone.
still got a lot of stories like this.
that's all my tips for you.

Just be yourself, be alert and be responsible for your own tasks.
Lastly, don't get everyone pissed off by not putting in your effort.
BMT is all about teamwork, and one thing about mono-intakes, it's all about getting along with your fellow mates because you'll be serving with them till you ORD and likely through your reservist life too.
One thing about 6SIR, the command structure seems a bit garang, so you should prepare for tough physical training. -
