oh.. i can wear no.4 with my civilian bag?
i was thinking about putting those small little items into my field pack.

go build/ repair/ maintain bridges.. until the feet can become sore and rot.... -
not quite la. opposite the camp are private estate and shophouses. but there is only 1 bus that goes there directly. which is 172. or u can take 300 and walk there. 300 alight at 5th stop and walk. 172 alight at 4th or 5th stop and walk a shorter distance there.

Storeman job is generally easy, more than often i see storeman slacking more than clerks. It just depends which store you get as some have more work while some practically sleep all day.Originally posted by the_fallen:Storeman..

All personnel in combat units are required to stayin regardless is clerk, storeman etc. Very few formations have stayout storeman. However if you have serious sinus etc that you can get a specialist to recommend stayout, you can be excuse stayin. -

combat medics... basically got 2 types one...i break it down for u k
HQ MEDIC...organic to the medical centre..they are the ones that run the medical centre with the Senior Medic..Medic 2ic and MO IC
they chiong with the Unit basically..setting up BCS
Rifle Coy Medics(Battery Medics if in Arty)
i shall say this in infantry context..
3 Combat medics organic to each platoon with 1 Company Medic(Medic Spec) organic to the company...basically...this is the 1st line health care for the coys....
they train with the coys....chiong with them..yadayada..
Company line life for them...slack la compared to HQ medic...wat the coy do..they do lor....generally combat medics don't do guard duty...
Company Medic..life..easiest..closest to encik...
at most..check mosquito breeding area...teach soldiers how to wear condom before going overseas exercise... and handle medical emergencies within the coy(like soldiers attempting suicide and accidents.....
All medics are required to be Medical Cover trained...how Medical Cover duties are allocated is up to the Safety Officer... Medic Specs....and MO...
Medical centre duties...for me...i allocate a 3 unit system
Weekday is 1 unit...Weekend and public holidays is 2 units.. Its a 24 hour thing basically...
MOST IMPORTANTLY....CHIONGING IS THE EASIEST THING TO DO COMPARED TO RUNNING A MEDICAL CENTRE FOR A MEDIC...CONSIDER URESELF LUCKY IF YOU POSTED TO BE A PLATOON MEDIC -

those rifleman who go to SMTI for combat medic course..will come back to be platoon medics...
after my BMT i went sispec then go thru the first spec 2 batch..
one of my platoon medics managed to sign on as an engineer spec and the one replacing him did bmt at tekong
depends on vacancies and circumstances....
its not much of a shock for mono people to be posted back as platoon medics as they are accustomed to the life there
HQ medics also have medics who did bmt from the rifle coy and get posted as a hq medic....
but 95% of the time..will get posted back as a platoon medic... -

go cck. the bus stop IN FRONT of lot one. take 172 or can go opposite side bus stop take 975. once you pass ALB prepare to stop, cannot miss one. 8SAB is a good place man. not like 40..
