He is some idiotic man la.. really because of guys like him, I dunno how the phrase "work hard and you will be duly rewarded" is proven. hahaOriginally posted by LazerLordz:Well, seems like your man has some issues up there. But technically speaking, he managed to play the system..
Personally, I don't see what is wrong if you go out for a while.I would do the same, but if I'm am really unwell, I will not do so la.Originally posted by mschumacher84:i am on mc for 2 months from end nov 2005..i just went out on x mas eve to enjoy the festive mood..my parents also allow me to go out..haha
The daily MC kings are a different sort, you can tell that they don't have any illness of a serious sort. But is there a GOM authorising a CO to call back a person on MC on the same day? This method could be open to abuse by higher-ups too,Originally posted by tarutaru:well there's a why handle these guys but the CO or the one in charge must be firm. In my unit, whenever some of these guys, MCs king, get MCs from private clinic, the CO/ the in charge insists they come back to endorse their MCs on that very day. Whenever they got medical appointment, ask them to see the MOs with the letter, then ask the medical centre to book the appointment for them. Like that the MO can request for a medical report from the hospital.
but surely the CO can cancel their rights to report sick outside.Originally posted by LazerLordz:The daily MC kings are a different sort, you can tell that they don't have any illness of a serious sort. But is there a GOM authorising a CO to call back a person on MC on the same day? aiyah ... you can find loopholes in any systems lah ....Originally posted by Ponders:He is some idiotic man la.. really because of guys like him, I dunno how the phrase "work hard and you will be duly rewarded" is proven. haha
anyway, he got posted out to be a life guard. but at the same time he is a SAFSA player.
SAFSA training on 1 3 5.
on 2 4 6... he will say because of 1 3 5 he need to go for physiotherapy.
So basically he is not even serving.
Hmm.It should only be done on a case by case basis, but no offence, if I am stuck with a medical center which has let me down countless number of times and I'm the target of a concerted effort of abuse, I would bring up this issue to higher authorities.Originally posted by tarutaru:but surely the CO can cancel their rights to report sick outside.
Most sportsmen carry injuries which limit their combat performance. The physiology requirement of a soldiering skill is different from that of an athlete.Originally posted by Fatum:aiyah ... you can find loopholes in any systems lah ....
and I think SAFSA is bullshit btw ... you heard of people being downgraded from PES A and then go on to play sports for SAFSA ? ... wtf ! ...
yes, I understand that ...Originally posted by LazerLordz:Most sportsmen carry injuries which limit their combat performance. The physiology requirement of a soldiering skill is different from that of an athlete.
Basic point: You can stop and rest when you feel your old injury recurring in sports training. You cannot realistically stop in the middle of a FIBUA fire team movement right?
The GOM i read GOM-MP... about medical leave... was very vague and ambiguous on whether they can be called back.Originally posted by LazerLordz:The daily MC kings are a different sort, you can tell that they don't have any illness of a serious sort. But is there a GOM authorising a CO to call back a person on MC on the same day? hi there, i have spontaneous pneumothorax on my left lung..in simple terms, collapse lungs. i went to see specialist at NUH and he asked whether i wanna go for op immediately or let it heal up..i told him i wanna let it heal, so he told me to see him in 2months time. Gave me 2 months mc and painkillers. he advised me to go swimming to build up my lungs. So basically during the 1st 2 weeks of my mc, i am in pain, but i have recovered since. The bad thing is, i dont know when my lungs will collapse again..Originally posted by Gordonator:mind telling us also what injury gave u the 2 months of MC?
