  Why not, mono-intake is conducted for navy also. Or maybe hes in NDU to do his BMT.

  A level CAN be mono-ed for units like NDU cause they are more, well, UP if ya know what i am saying, haha

  no. officially, guard duties started after office hours meaning 1730 to 0800.

  During BMT if i need to attend specialist appointment out of SAF, who to report? When i must tell them, straight away enlistment day tell them? Tell who?

  last qn before i go in this thurs. what do we do during the 1st 2 weeks? 1st book out have to bring everything back home? can't leave anything in the cupboard?

  first 2 weeks are mainly lectures and maybe some introductory activities like running and stuff that u will be doing for the rest of ur bmt life in tekong...
  
  u can put ur things in ur own cupboard..dun hav to bring back the things
  but u will be asked to bring ur own cv bag back home during ur first book out..
  
  dey will oso giv u a list of items to buy from beach rd.

  Hmm... after pass out from bmt and report to unit we greet WO as "sir" or "encik" ah? coz we were told to greet them as sir in bmt....

  Sir would be a better choice. Encik is like calling him uncle with respect but it is not so formal..

  When I was serving my BMT frm Dec 2002-Mar 2003, they told us 2 use frog style..maybe times have changed??

  the only style saf allow is frog style. any other style u use they consider u dunno how to swim. i juz finished bmt last wk.

  Call them Sir and see how they react, most WOs I know prefer to be called Encik. Most are fine with me calling them Warrant So-and-So/Encik.
