Merry Meet To All,
The Eight Sanskrit Syllables of the Eight Buddha Protectors signify protection & blessings! Avalokitesvara, Akasagarbha, Manjushri, Samantabhadra, Maha-sthama-prapta, Vairocana, Acala & Amitabha, The Eight Holy Buddha Protectors of the Twelves Zodiac Signs!
Before Buddha entered "Parinirvana", He said to His Disciples, "Everything that is born will die. All conditioned phenomena are subjected to decay. You should constantly think of the Buddha's Birth and not be lax or lazy in your spiritual pursuit. Practising thus, You will attain Enlightenment." The Buddha dedicated His life to sentient beings so that they would always be able to hear the auspicious sound of Dharma symbolised by the conch. He was like the precious parasol protecting sentient beings, turning the Dharma Wheel. Like the "Auspicious Knot", He was able to see interwoven nature of all things. His Heart pure as the "Lotus", avoiding "Evil" and abiding in "Happiness" (Double Golden Fish), Finally attaining Merits and "Wisdom" (Wealth Vase). The Buddhadharma is limitless. If all Living Beings follow the teachings of Buddha, they would be free from sicknesses and would enter the great World symbolised by the White Banner...

Avalokitesvara, the Protector of those born in the year of the Rat
Those born in the year of the Rat have, as their protector, the thousand-armed-thousand-eyed Avalokitesvara. In each of Avalokitesvara's hand is an "Eye". "Thousand" here means inexhuastibility and perfection. The thousand hands symbolise Avalokitesvara's great Compassion & skilful means. The thousand eyes are a symbol of His Wisdom and Perfect Vision. According to the Great Compassion Dharani, Avalokitesvara has the ability to benfit all living beings and to bless all to have harmonious relationships, wealth, abundance, success, longevity and fulfillment. Akasagarbha, the Protector of those born in the year of the Ox and Tiger
Those born in the year of the Ox & Tiger have, as their protector, Akasagarbha. Legend has it that this Bodhisattva kept His vows so purely and was so dilligent that His merits and wisdom is beyond measure. Akasagarbha's ability to benefit all sentient beings is without measure. He is like a wealthy man who helps suffering beings joyfully. He is thus worthy of the highest respect & offerings. Those born in the year of the Ox and Tiger who carry with them the seed syllable of Akasagarbha would enhance their luck & wealth.

Manjushri, the Protector of those born in the year of the Rabbit
Those born in the year of the Rabbit have, as their protector, Manjushri Bodhisattva who symbolises virtue, auspiciousness & joy. Manjushri is sometimes known as the Dharma Prince wieding the sword of wisdom subduing hordes of demons and cutting off all worries and delusions. His left hand holds a green lotus which bears the scroll of the Heart sutra whuch symbolises the wisdom realising the true nature of all things. Manjushri has made 18 kinds of great vows for Buddhahood. Due to His great wisdom and merits, Samantabhadra has the ability to bestow long life. Maha-sthma-prapta, the Protector of those born in the year of the Horse
Those born in the year of the Horse have, as their protector, who Maha-sthma-prapta is known as Great Strength Bodhisattva. According to the Sutra of Limitless Life, Maha-sthma-prapta Bodhisattva perceives with His wisdom and lead all sentient beings out of the three lower realms.Thus He is considered to be the foremost in wisdom. Together with Avalokitesvara, he attend Amitabha Buddha. Amitabha, Avalokitesvara and Maha-sthma-prapta are known as the Triple Saints of the West. While Avalokitesvara symbolises Compassion, Maha-sthma-prapta symbolises Wisdom. Those born in the year of the Horse who carry with them the seed syllable of Maha-sthma-prapta would be able to pacify dangers relating to natural disasters and weapons. Beside that, It dispel all obstacles of this lifetime and enhances career prospects and wealth.

Those born in the year of the Goat and Monkey have, as their protector, who Vairocana is an emanation of Adibuddha, the Primordial Buddha. Vairocana ripens Limitless sentient beings and fulfils their worldly and spiritual aims. Those born in the year of the Goat and Monkey who carry with them the seed syllable of Vairocana would be able to pacify dangers relating to natural disasters and weapons. Acala, the Protector of those born in the year of the Rooster
Those born in the year of the Rooster have, as their protector, Acala Buddha. Difficulties are pacified as they arise. The vow of this Buddha is, "Whoever sees my form will generate Bodhicitta; whyoever hears my name will cut off delusions and practise virtue; whoever hears my speech will gain wisdom and whoever knows my mind will gains Buddhahood." Acala Buddha's Compassion is evident. Acala Buddha is a wrathful manifestation. This serves to subdue evil beings and cause beings on the Path to develop unshakable faith and Bodhicitta. Those born in the year of the Rooster who carry with them the seed syllable of Acala which grants them protection and perseverance on the Path. This would enhance their luck and wealth.

Those born in the year of the Dog and Boar have, as their protector, Amitabha who is known as the Buddha of Limitless light & life. Amitabha is the patron Buddha of the Western Pureland. He liberates sentient beings with his Limitless vows. Whoever holds His name to Heart is granted Protection. All obstacles are dispelled and Ones gains rebirth after death.
