but hoh i very angry when people mis-pronouce my name..like i working in customer service..den i will keep repeating until they get it rite...

some people just cannot pronouce certain words.
since young, my chinese name have 4 different pronouciations &
i never corrected them. -

but whenever i tried to tell people the correct pronuciation,
they are just so stubborn & proud in their own knowledge of the langauge & said that i'm being fussy, tried to impose on me the way they pronouced it.
after a while, i just gave up & as long as i know the person is calling me,it is fine with me.

like my mother..ocne she got used to pronoucing a certain word..she won't change it no matter how we correct her. -

She so good help me... now my son coming is near ....
