I am starting this new thread to do an introduction on USUI REIKI & as a platform for fellow Lightworkers to share their views on healing! Hope these informations will be of use to those who are healers & people who are interested in it! Let the USUI REIKI change your mind & body for the better! Definition of Reiki
Rei-ki is the ancient art of hands-on healing. It is a simple manual art with a philosophical understanding of the human function; it is not a religion.
Dr Mikao Usui, scholar and mystic, rediscovered it in Japan a century ago.
Brief overview on Reiki
The knowledge that an unseen energy flows through all living things and is connected directly to the quality of health has been part of the wisdom of many cultures since ancient times. The existence of this "life force energy" has been verified by recent scientific experiments, and medical doctors are considering the role it plays in the functioning of the immune system and the healing process.
Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that allows everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve health and enhance the quality of life.
An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master. Its use is not dependent on ones intellectual capacity or spiritual development and, therefore, is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through you and surrounds you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit and creates many beneficial effects including relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and well-being. Many have reported miraculous results. Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use -

Another question,
, won't the transferrance of energy get diluted in the process? Or maybe even "distorted"... much like a rolling moss ?
Btw, I've read that hands on healing should only be practised by those who have the healing gifts otherwise they will tend to take on the ills of the person they are healing. Any take on this?

i don't know about life-force energy, but the touch of a loved one will release endorphines in the brain, giving both a sense of well-being and helps with health and the relationship of the couple
and it is spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically healing
touch your loved one today give him/her a gentle massage, a cuddle and tender love... it is does wonders for the heart, mind, body and soul -

Well Reiki is the Universal Life force, Transferring of Energy from Teacher to student is essential part of it, Its not really Tantric as Tantric practice require transfer of one's own energy into the other! For reiki attunement its only the Universal Life force! There are various form of Reiki, however only USUI REIKI is the pure & most ancient Healing power! Yeah getting a good teacher is of utmost importance coz if the teacher is a good Reiki healer so the students that He/She attuned will be just as good as well through self cultivation of latter! Reiki attunement is like fine tuning of ones major Charkras.....in a way like adding on a switch so that by pulling the switch.....The Universal Life Force of Reiki can flow down to the healer easily like a snap of the finger!
Transferrance of energy may be not the same when it reaches the latter, however it will also be dependable on how receptive can the student be! In my perspective, Whether its of Pure USUI REIKI anot is essential, the Lineage is of ultimate importance......Down the line then energy that ones received get more & more diluted in a way not so strong as the Mother Power! My Lineage is from Mrs Takata therefore not too bad still very pure..... Locally there are alot of Reiki Masters however few are actually from good Lineage of USUI REIKI! Over the years there are alot of sub branches of Reiki like Tummo Reiki(make use of Kundalini energy which is part of Tantric).....Angelic Reiki......& many more!
Well everyone can learn Reiki, if you are one that blessed with the Healing gifts its a plus point if you are not it is also ok! Taking on the pain & karma of your patient is true.....you will definately encounter such things in your practice thats why it is important to cut off links with your patient after healing sessions & do cleansing on yourself! If you don't cut off link, the patient will continue to receive healing energy from you! Btw the Link i meant is the Astral link between you & your patient's Astral/Etheric bodies that are connected during healing!

I have one more query about the lineage aspect...When you say your lineage is from Mrs Takata, does that mean you were attuned directly from her? Sorry if it is a dumb question but I have been wondering about the lineage part of Reiki. I am still unclear whether it means direct transferrance or from the "school" or "family" of, as in the general term of the word.

Well what i meant is my lineage is from the originator of the Reiki system of Dr Mikao Usui! My Lineage from Mrs Takata assured the purity of my Reiki, Mrs Takata is the Grand Master of my Lineage! In my perspective, lineage or "pedigree" is very important as it keeps the connection to Dr Usui "pure"! If your lineage is of other Masters, the Purity of essence of Usui Reiki will be more diluted! An example would be you have a cup of orange juice.....you keep adding water into it as more & more water are added......the orange juice get more & more diluted......Less concentrated than it was before!
Well the Harmonic Concordance World Meditation was held at alot of places globally! Its new energy is great, vibrant & very much need at this time on this Earthly realm! Actually due to the constant shifting of energies happening throughout this year, alot of changes & events occurred! So which one did you go? I was invited to a few events but i did not go! Anyway this new energy will be "HERE" on this Earthly Plane for awhile........

Thank you for the clarification on lineages.
I was most tempted to join the HC meditation led by Carlos Palada at Basic essence but did not go in the end as I had no Kaki. Further more, it being Sunday-- family day, I was kinds held back.
Did a short one with friends on SUnday morn though and I guess that was sufficient for me now. -

Btw his mentor Elizabeth Kruger is here, I went to see her on Sunday at a gathering at my friend's place! Well if you have done a Harmonic Concordance meditation on Sunday, its enough already as the energy will stay with you for three weeks!

Carlos is more of a channeller, he got his own healing method called Atomic healing (if i remember correctly). Well he can tell you something from your previous life if he see them! all i know is that the healing which a loved one can bring to their partner is something so powerful...
it goes beyond physical, it is mental, spiritual and emotional...
a touch, a smile, a gentle word, a kiss, a cuddle... melts the heart all over again
the general good feeling is underestimated... it is healing as it brings about security, wonder, love, good thoughts and strength..
and the strength, is mental, physical and more.. one just wants to be the best he can be for his partner... a determined purpose to be "worthy" of her...
that's my take...
love your partner... tell your partner you love her, show it, do it, express it, be it... all for her
and she will feel blessed and so will you

USUI Reiki required Attunement by Reiki Master as mention in my previous post! There is no way Ones can acquired Reiki on his own without any attunement! I would say 1st attunement is the most crucial & important as if its not done well, you probably will not be a good Reiki Healer...

As i mention before "Its in my perspective" does not represent the masses! Anyway there are alot of other school of thoughts & Various Factions of Reiki has surfaced over the years whose Roots are still traced back to its originator "Usui Reiki"! One thing for sure, the 1st attunement is the most crucial & critical to make anyone a reliable reiki practicioner, don't you reckon that? Its not just about whatsoever Labels or Brands that matters its in One's heart, the Heart of Reiki that reside in our very Flame of Life as a Lightworker, our work & responsibilities, neither do i comment on any Reiki Masters nor let alone recommend any!
Thanks for sharing your views & clarify further on the Attunement & Historical background of Reiki. True the Healing Hands of Light are evident in almost all Religions since dawn of Mankind which transcends Time & Space Continuum! Grand Reiki Masters, Reiki Guides, Ascended Masters including the 26 Masters of Light & Angelic Guides like Metatron can be present during an Attunement, everyone will feel & react differently, unpredictable as its all in the Divine Plan i would put it that way! Do pop by often & i would greatly appreciate if you could share more about Reiki with us in here... Thanks...
