Gym has this machine that simulates climb stairs...... tried before and it seems to put quite alot of stress on the muscles , after that quite tiring ,rather shiok.Originally posted by ladykirvin:talking about walking.
someone told me that climbing staircase is works doubly in terms of burn calories. it's twice energy-consuming as compared to walking or jogging.
years back when i was more active; i used to climb up to reach my 6th storey, very diligently... these days.. hahahaha very sedentary...
perhaps i should start walking up the staircase again... anyway i always had phobia that the lift will just power failure and get stuck...

I remember being stuck in the lift while I was very young. Those days the lifts stops only on selected floors unlike new buildings nowadays stop at every level. Someone tried to force open the lift and all we saw was a orange sunbaked brick wall.
