seeing the photos taken by OCEANOS tempted me see where my friends wanna go -
THE FORBIDDEN CITY
The Forbidden City in Beijing where 24 Chinese Emperors ruled China for 500 years.
Also known as the Imperial Palace Museum or Gugong, the Forbidden City was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties carried out their administration and lived. I will post some pictures for you all to see the great traditional palace architecture, enjoy the treasures kept in the palace, and learn of the legends and anecdotes about the imperial family and the court. Some part may look familliar as they are the setting for some Dramas & Movie shooting.... So Enjoy!

White Jade
This White Jade is placed by the Emperor to signify his Harem of Concubines are all clear as ice, white as jade. (Bing Qing Yu Jie)
Ancient Clock
This is a sundial use in Ancient Forbidden City as Clock, so Chinese are the one who invented the first clock. -
Makes me feel like going to China too.

The Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty
At a distance of 50 km northwest of Beijing stands an arc-shaped cluster
of hills fronted by a small plain. Here is where 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) were buried, and the area is known as the Ming Tombs.
Construction of the tombs started in 1409 and ended with the fall of the Ming Dynasty in 1644. In over 200 years tombs were built over an area of 40 square kilometres, which is surrounded by walls totalling 40 kilometres. Each tomb is located at the foot of a separate hill and is linked with the other tombs by a road called the Sacred Way. The stone archway at the southern end of the Sacred Way, built in 1540, is 14 metres high and 19 metres wide, and is decorated with designs of clouds, waves and divine animals.

Have the ming tomb's undgerground totally open yet ?
I went last year but i remember at main hall , front was leading to the tomb
The left and the right room was pitch dark and barricade ,
The both left right room is meant for the empress and her 1st cocubine.
But the tomb is build in a rush, therefore when the day the coffin was carried in , both coffin couldn't enter the door , so both woman were burried with the king
am i right ? can confirm ? -

Dingling is the tomb of the thirteenth Emperor Shenzong (Zhuyijun) of the Ming Dynasty and his two Queens, Xiaoduan and Xiaojing. -
