The Shamrock, a 3-Leaf Clover, is Irelands most recognized National Symbol. 4-Leaf Clover are deemed to be exceptionally rare & bring luck to the Finder or owner. By definition, for a clover to represent the Trinity, it would have to bear 3 leaves. 4-leaf clovers have 4 leaves and therefore can't be considered shamrocks.
