  Also some mention its close connection to death but also that of trickery as well but thats more of animal symbolism or shamanism i guess
  
  Ravens are sometimes confused with crows, while the later are associated with carrion and disease, the former are far nobler even though they also feed on carrion like their crow counterparts... physically the raven is 4 times heavier and has a longer wingspan...

  Thanks for sharing these interesting informations, in term of Magickal Attributes they are more or less the same however Crow is of Trickery while Raven is of Wisdom, both are Birds of Prophecy help with divination works, Crow has the ability to shapeshift while Raven represent the Magick of Crone.
