details? nah lar, all i know black magic has always led to disastrous and very scary endings, if not for the sorcerer, then unfortunately for the victims.
in some cultures, it is said that black magic is practised only with the aid of demons and other similar malicious creatures. unfortunately for the so called master of these entities, when the time has come for him to die, he will find it extremely difficult, as although his physical body may well have shut down, the entities are somewhat sustaining his body for their own purposes... usually means they are looking for a new master before they allow the present one to die...
so u might end up with a decaying body that is still pretty much alive... freaky no? -

Thanks for sharing, well your description of Such Black Sorcery can only be more likely of Malay Mystic Art, although there are such Sorcery in Thai Mystic Art too. Its usually with the aids of Djinns which will be with their Master for Eternity passed down Generation to Generation & if the Family Line died off, they will have to find their New Master before they let their Original Master moved on.

I don't know of any friends yet who have the misfortune of having to sustain a Djinn because of his parents actions, but there were times when I was young when I picked up on my relatives discussing isolated cases of this happening.

Well Djinn are definitely not some Entity that can be dabble with without much capability. There are also many kinds of Djinn that can perform certain tasks & bestow you with certain abilities however is it worth the price?

Well Djinn is definitely different from Toyol! Are you sure your friend's one is a Djinn? They are incomparable in term of Powers.

there are some that say that a djinn can be malicious or not. But the ones that humans make direct contact with usually are malicious from the get go. Never heard of anyone keeping an altar for one though.
Worth the price? Not worth? We all walk paths of our own choosing. So long as we take responsibility for our own decisions and actions, we can blame no one for what we do. -

Truness. Toyol are considered Lower Level Entity with regards to Djinn. Djinn need not any altar just an abode which can be a Spirit Jar, Ring or some other items.
Whether its worth the Price, its a personal choice. Everything in this Earthly Realm has a Price Tag attached to it, If the Price deem fits then pay it. This is applicable to all Acts of Individual, Pay the Price with no regrets if not don't meddle with it.

Djinns are kinda supposed to be another type of sentient being right? They exist at a different plane or something from humanity hence we dun always see them? I can't remember anymore...
Humans are selfish.. or rather self centric: i.e, I should take care of myself.. but sometimes, we forget this in the face of so many other things to take care of which can create a well of repressed energies which backlash... thus leading to us taking certain sets of actions which can be deigned selfish...
indeed you can say everything has a price... i too believe this, just choose to not weigh it too heavily... so long as i can advance my state of humanity without needlessly harming some else or hindering someone else from doing the same., why not?
