When Jesus says don't throw stones at others, he means to say that you should not condemn others. But there is nothing wrong with correcting other peoples' faults, or rather, gently admonishing the sinner. Hate the sin, not the sinner. -
I read from some internet that there are satanists but there are also wannabe's.
There was a US murder report some years back that some of these wannabe's went to a ceremony thinking they were going to a ceremony to be recruited as initiates but ended up instead as the "main course" for the human sacrifice. -

Wannabes are always around even in here we seen so many in the previous threads in Chitchat. Satanism in Singapore became immensely popular in the Late 80s & Early 90s when they were very active. As for US there is alot of such Occult Murder cases going on which is quite alarming in a sense...

Do Wiccans worship Satan? Many may ask.
Well then Answer is "No". Wiccans worship the God and Goddess and work with the natural energies of our planet. One of the aspects of our God does wear horns, but he symbolizes the fertility of nature, not evil. Although most traditional Wiccans do recognize other religions' rights to practice and believe in their own pantheons, Wiccans do not practice any worship of Satan and do not advocate Satanic practices.

Also how does the demon get depicted as a humanoid with horns and a tail? I mean there has to be inspiration somewhere right? Is is any coincidence with the wiccan god is also depicted as one wearing horns or is there some other influence?

How do u noe who is the liar and who is not? The way religions exist alongside each other today can often lead to situations whereby one man's God is another man's Satan.
I mean, one thing I notice about this discussion so far is that it appears Christian-centric. I wonder how people of other faiths and religions would consider the whole issue.
Perhaps, to a Muslim (for example), the Christian and the LaVey-styled Satanist are both heretics.
Perhaps the Christian himself views the Muslim similarly.
One True God also means there has to be One True Devil? -
